Yup, I do crochet indeed. I first learned it back in high
school in one of my home ec classes. Then completely forgot
about it until I met my husband's (then bf) mom who does a
gazillion crafty things. She basically inspired me to pick up
crocheting again. It's kinda neat when you can give stuff to
people and say "I made that myself! I hope you like it." No
matter how ugly the doily or coaster or whatever, there's no
way they can regift that sucker. The guilt factor will most
likely kick in :-)
You'll notice however that all my projects are pretty tiny. That's
mostly because it frustrates me when I don't see a finished
product after a few weeks. Hence, I have yet to make an afghan
or a bed spread which I can see me taking years to finish.
